Cary Grant Signed Note and Newspaper Clipping Sent to Danny Kaye.

Danny Kaye, 1984, Danny Kaye. A unique set of (2) items from Cary Grant to Danny Kaye pertaining to the Cambodian Relief Disaster, including 1-personal handwritten note from Grant, reading, “Happy thoughts dear Danny! Cary," along with the printed phrase, “With compliments of Cary Grant." The accompanying 1-newspaper clipping dated August 23, 1984 features a hand-drawn red box around an excerpt that reads, “Few should be surprised to learn that the specialized agencies of the U.N. – with the notable exception of UNICEF, the U.N. Children's Fund – performed poorly." The clipping reflects the issues of the time, tying directly to Danny Kaye's longstanding commitment to UNICEF, where he served as the organization's first celebrity Goodwill Ambassador.
