Original future tech prop constructed of cast resin pod with acrylic facing ring and holographic reflecting disc. The body of the prop has been expertly studio finished in metallic pewter with verso featuring an acrylic belt clip for affixing to costume. In the movie, these devices are highly visible as used by an alien race that activates them to give their squid-like amorphous forms the appearance of being human. There is a comical scene where the device is activated to hide their true forms to their terrified guests. The acrylic ring can be removed, presumably for electronics or light source. The prop measures 3 in. round by 2.25 in. wide and exhibits some production handling. In generally very good to fine condition.
