Shawshank Redemption, 1994, Castle Rock .Production made "official" tax form paper prop made out for Warden "Samuel Norton" (Bob Gunton). Signed at top right corner in blue ink, "Bob Gunton / "˜Warden Norton.'" In The Shawshank Redemption, written and directed by Frank Darabont from bestselling author Stephen King's novella, Norton engages in tax evasion by manipulating the prison's financial resources for personal gain. He uses the labor of inmates to run a money-laundering scheme under the guise of a legitimate business, all while claiming ignorance of the law. This corruption ultimately serves as a catalyst for prisoner "Andy Dufresne's" (Tim Robbins) plan to expose the Warden's illegal activities and seek justice. Exhibiting production use and handling.
