Prototype Soap Bar from Fight Club

Fight Club, 1999, 20th Century Fox .Production made logo bar soap constructed of solid cast resin, painted Pepto pink. The protagonist, "Tha Narrator" (Ed Norton) who works as a corporate drone, finds solace in making soap as a way to reclaim his sense of self. The soap is made from human fat, which "Tyler Durden" (Brad Pitt), the charismatic alter ego, collects from liposuction procedures. This gruesome method highlights the extremes to which they go to challenge societal norms and consumer culture. The soap becomes a product of their anti-establishment ideology, representing both a rejection of conventional values and a critique of the obsession with physical appearance. Measuring approx. 3 x 2.25 x 1.15 in. Exhibiting production wear and handling. In good to very good condition.
