Clapperboard from How the Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch, 2000, Universal. Production used clapperboard from the beloved modern Christmas classic. Consisting of an acrylic whiteboard slate with a wooden, rainbow-colored interleaved clapper sticks hinged to the top. Engraved with, “DIRECTOR: Ron Howard” and “CAMERA: DON PETERMAN ASC”. Outline of the Grinch character is engraved right below the clapper sticks with the logo “The Grinch” also engraved next to it. On the verso, retaining a strip of grip tape with the line “SMILE IF YOU HAD SEX LAST NITE” written out with black ink. Measuring 11 x 9.5 x 1 in. Exhibiting production use and minor handling. Comes with a handwritten note that reads: "PRESENTED TO JOHN STAIER BSC. BY PANAVISION HOLLYWOOD. COMPLETE WITH CAMERA DEPT. NOTATION ON THE BACK. (Signed) John Stanier BSC." In production used very good to fine condition.
