Shailene Woodley Rifle from Divergent: Allegiant

Divergent, 2016, Lionsgate .Production used futuristic articulating grappling hook gun constructed of cast resin and metal, with interior spring loaded launcher which ejects the included grappling hook, constructed of cast rubber and metal, when the trigger is pulled. Expertly studio painted to appear distressed, with painted serial number on either side of the barrel. In one of the first action scenes, "Tris" (Woodley) and her cohort use these grappling hooks to scale a wall. To film this sequence, the production team constructed a 24-meter wall topped with an electrified metal fence at Bellwood Quarry near Atlanta. Visual effects were later added in post-production to make the wall appear over 60 meters tall. Mechanics untested. Measuring 19 x 9.25 x 2.5 in. Exhibiting production wear. In very good condition.
