Both displayed in matted frames, inscribed lower left of image on border, "From 'Mother Goose Goes Hollywood'" in pencil. Mother Goose Goes Hollywood is a lighthearted, entertaining short that combines Disney's animation talent with a clever social commentary, making it a unique piece in the Silly Symphonies lineup. It was well-received for its sharp satire and creativity, and remains a fun historical look at the early days of Hollywood, especially through the lens of animated characters. Cels measuring 10.75 x 7.75 in. and 6 x 7 in. visible through mat, frames measuring 15.25 x 17.5 in. and 13 x 14.45 in. Exhibiting production wear and age, mild waving and chipping. In vintage good to very good condition.
