Back to The Future (1985) - Save the Clock Tower Flyer

Original 'Save the Clock Tower' flyer from Robert Zemeckis' time travel adventure, Back to the Future. In this 1980s sci-fi classic, small-town California teen Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is thrown back into the '50s when an experiment by his eccentric scientist friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes awry. Traveling through time in a modified DeLorean car, Marty encounters young versions of his parents (Crispin Glover, Lea Thompson), and must make sure that they fall in love or he'll cease to exist. Even more dauntingly, Marty has to return to his own time and save the life of Doc Brown. Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) and Jennifer (Claudia Wells) received these flyers from the Hill Valley Preservation Society. This yellow and black printed flyer bears the header "Save the Clock Tower" and includes a photocopy of a Hill Valley Telegraph newspaper article titled" Clock Tower Struck by Lightning." The article recounts the events witnessed by McFly in 1955. Maintaining an excellent overall condition with minimal indications of wear from both production use and age. The dimensions of the flyer are 11" x 8.5" (28 cm x 21.5 cm). A Certificate of Authenticity from Studio Auctions accompanies the item.
