Cetacean Submarine FX Mini from Man from Atlantis

Unique production used submarine model miniature constructed of cast fiberglass, resin, acrylic, copper wire and mixed media components expertly assembled and painted in industrial gray to appear as a full sized, fully functioning futuristic submarine. This sophisticated "Cetacean" submarine is the foundation's sea exploring lab. The instantly recognizable 37.5 x 11 x 8 in. miniature features hallmarks of an actual submarine assembled in a whimsical configuration of four orb pods. In the underwater Sci-Fi adventure series, an Atlantean amnesiac "Mark Harris" (Patrick Duffy), is recruited by the Foundation of Oceanic Research. As the series tended to emulate the otherworldly exploits of the popular space series Star Trek, the Cetacean sub served as a nautical version of the USS Enterprise. Exhibiting expected age and production wear with some minor cracking and greeble loss. In vintage very good condition.
