Screen used, crashed airliner door, constructed of metal, plastic, batting, and other mixed media. Crafted with precision, this actual plane door features exposed interior materials and an outer aluminum skin designed to resemble a distressed commercial airline door. It's painted in white and blue, adorned with Oceanic-branded symbols for an authentic touch. The inciting incident in this groundbreaking blockbuster series is the crash of Flight 815, which strands a revolving cast of passengers and subplots on an uncharted island. Over the course of the wildly popular 6-year series, the conspicuous carcass of the airliner is ever-present and central to the show. This beautifully rendered set piece measures approx. 58 x 36 x 9.5 in. and features all the hallmarks of a once working airplane door including the hatch release and other nuances.
