Phaser Hand Prop from Star Trek: Phase II

Production made phaser constructed of gray painted cast resin with static aluminum and acrylic half wheels and aluminum panel. Retaining velcro strip on the verso. Star Trek: Phase II was the original working title for what would eventually be known as Star Trek II. This unproduced American sci-fi TV series, envisioned by Gene Roddenberry, was meant to be a sequel and continuation of the original Star Trek, which aired from 1966 to 1969. The concept for this series emerged after several unsuccessful attempts to create a feature film based on the franchise, alongside the proposed establishment of a new broadcast network called Paramount Television Service (PTS). Ultimately, the existing Enterprise sets created during pre-production were repurposed for Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979). Measuring 3.75 x 1 x 1.25 in. Exhibiting age and handling.
