Greg Jein-created Star Trek: The Original Series-style U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701 model miniature pulled from original production molds. Constructed of cast fiberglass, resin, vacuum formed plastic, rigid polyfoam and other mixed-media components, with hallmark nacelles, deflector dish, shuttle bay door and other details drawn from original schematics, designs, and blueprints. Featuring the instantly recognizable domed Bussard Intake Collector caps and Upper Main Sensor Array Platform dome bubble at the top of the grand ship's hull. The legendary Jein was commissioned to recreate the original Enterprise for the Star Trek iteration Deep Space Nine, for the special episode: "Trials and Tribble-ations," in which Captain Kirk and his crew aboard the Enterprise are encountered in a time travel scenario. The monumental ship measures 29 x 67.5 x 23.5 in. with the principle saucer component alone measuring 31 in. diameter. Expertly studio painted in signature industrial grays, metallic silver and white with the Enterprise name, call numbers, red and yellow stripe badging and even tiny windows on the hull. Exhibiting minor age and wear to some of the decal and paint details. In good to very good condition. Special shipping arrangements will apply.
