Production made nightmare glove constructed of pale leather stitched together in strips, made to resemble stained human leather, with adjustable woven strap embellished with metal grommet, and segmented metal plates and finger tubes extending into wicked looking "blades." The "soul pizza" scene features "Freddy Krueger" (Englund) using a grotesque trick to scare "Alice" (Lisa Wilcox). In this memorable moment, the waitress serves a pizza topped with what appear to be human soul meatballs, each represented by faces emerging from the cheese. This scene highlights Freddy's sadistic sense of humor and his ability to manipulate fear in nightmarish ways. The visual of the soul pizza serves as a darkly comedic yet chilling representation of Freddy's power, showcasing his unique brand of horror that combines humor with terror, making it a standout moment in the Nightmare on Elm Street series.
