Production used metal hacksaw expertly distressed for filming. In Saw III, the notorious killer “Jigsaw” (Tobin Bell) forces his latest victims into a series of gruesome life-or-death tests while his own health rapidly deteriorates. As he struggles with his impending death, the imprisoned “Eric” (Wahlberg) tries to cut through his chains, but when he sees “Lawrence Gordon's” (Cary Elwes) severed foot, realizes he needs to sever his own chained foot to escape. Reluctantly, Eric attempts to use the hacksaw on his body, but ultimately grabs the lid of the toilet tank and uses it to smash his foot, freeing it from the shackle. “Adam” (Leigh Whannell) from the original film makes a brief cameo for this installment of the series, for which he also co-wrote the treatment with his frequent collaborator and director of the first film, James Wan. The hacksaw is approx. 15 x 5 in. and presented in a custom acrylic wall mount display case measuring approx. 17 x 13.5 x 5 in. Exhibiting studio distressing and production wear, with the blade now broken in half. In good condition. Accompanied by COA from Screen Used.
