Possibly the most famous pair of blue jeans in pop culture history. Brooke Shields's personal pair of Calvin Klein designer jeans worn in her iconic ad campaign of the 1980s. Legendary photographer, Richard Avedon, approached Brooke Shields' mother about shooting the Calvin Klein campaign. Intrigued by the sophistication and word play of the proposed commercials, Shields agreed to do them. The ads resulted in Brooke Shields's infamous line, "You wanna know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing!" making a profound impact on the zeitgeist of the era. Despite some controversy over a 15-year old girl being featured in what many deemed a fairly suggestive circumstance, the ad campaign was phenomenally successful. It kept Shields at the forefront of the public's consciousness and propelled Calvin Klein's brand into the stratosphere with ever-sexier ads that pushed the envelope of social expectation and acceptance. These historical denim jeans exhibit minor production wear and age. Retaining the internal and external Calvin Klein maker's labeling marked "5".
