Danny Kaye, 1950s-1960s., Sylvia Kaye. Vintage set of (2) little black cocktail dresses including 1-Hattie Carnegie brand black taffeta below the knee dress with cap sleeves featuring self bows, sweetheart neckline, gathered panels on the back of skirt, and self button back closure. Interior lined with panels of black silk and with 2-small black taffeta and mesh petticoat bustles for shaping the skirt. Retaining internal “Hattie Carnegie" bias label. Including 1-Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman black velvet long sleeved floor length sheath dress with short standing collar, 15 in. front hem slit, and zipper back closure. Interior lined in black satin. Retaining internal “Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman" bias label. Exhibiting age and wear, the Carnegie dress with minor loose seams at shoulders from previous display. In vintage very good condition. From the personal collection of Danny and Sylvia Fine Kaye.
