The Beatles, 1966, Capitol Records. Original concert flyer for The Beatles at D.C. Stadium in Washington, D.C., on Monday, August 15, 1966. Featuring striking yellow graphics with the Fab Four's floating heads, this is one of the top Beatles advertising pieces from their American tours. The show, attended by around 32,000 fans, featured the Cyrkle, promoted for their #2 hit "Red Rubber Ball," and The Ronettes, typically led by the late Ronnie Spector who was replaced by her cousin Elaine for the tour as Phil Spector forbade Ronnie from touring with the Beatles.
